5 Ways to Use Aloe Vera Gel for Hair Growth

Here are 5 ways to use Aloe Vera gel for hair growth:

  1. Aloe Vera and Yogurt Mask:

Take 3 tablespoons of fresh aloe gel and mix it with two tablespoons of yogurt, two tablespoons of olive oil and one tablespoon of raw honey. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and apply it onto your hair and scalp. Massage your scalp gently for 5 to 10 minutes and then let the mask sit for half an hour. Rinse off with lukewarm water and mild shampoo. Repeat this once every week for a healthier growth.

  1. Aloe Vera and Coconut Oil:

Take 5 tablespoons of fresh aloe gel in a clean bowl. Add three tablespoons of coconut oil and two tablespoons of raw honey to the aloe gel. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly to form a smooth paste. Apply this paste onto your hair from roots to tips. Leave it on for 20 to 25 minutes and then rinse off with your regular shampoo. It is a hydrating mask best for dry hair. It will deep condition your hair and promote hair growth.

  1. Aloe Vera and Apple Cider Vinegar:

If dandruff is the reason behind your hair loss or slow hair growth, this is an ideal mask for you. Take one cup of Aloe Vera gel and add into it two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Add one tablespoon of honey as well to further enhance its moisturizing and nourishing properties. Mix the ingredients well and apply to the scalp and hair shafts. Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse the mixture out with your regular shampoo. Repeat this two to three times a month to get rid of dandruff completely and promote healthy hair growth.

  1. Aloe Vera and Castor Oil Mask:

Extract one cup fresh Aloe Vera gel from the plant and add two tablespoons of castor oil into it. Also add two tablespoons of powdered fenugreek seeds into it and mix well. You can also process the ingredients in a blender for 30 seconds to get a smooth paste. Now apply this mask onto your head, starting from the roots and moving your way to the tips. Cover your head with a shower cap and leave it on overnight so that the healthy enzymes in the mask could penetrate deep into your scalp. In the morning shampoo your hair as usual. It is a highly conditioning mask that nourishes hair follicles and promotes hair growth.

  1. Aloe Vera Gel and Hibiscus Flower:

This is a highly effective mask to control hair fall. Hibiscus oil, when used regularly, makes hair thick, long, shiny and smooth. Take one cup of fresh aloe extract and mix into it two tablespoons of hibiscus flower. Blend the mixture for 30 minutes in a blender to make a fine paste. Apply the mask onto your hair and scalp and leave it on for 30 to 45 minutes. Rinse off the mask with lukewarm water and a mild shampoo. Repeat this twice a month to keep your hair healthy and fast growing.
